As Carry Dota 2 you need farming to be effective in battle. In order for farming to be faster and efficient, you can follow the following tips!
Do not die
If Heromu dies in Dota 2 you will get a penalty of reduction of gold that you have. Moreover, the duration of death will make you lose time that should be utilized for farming gold and XP. Therefore you should be more careful when farming as, especially if the enemy ganker heroes have started to disappear from the minimap.
Do not be quiet
As a carry, you will usually be the main target of your enemy at the beginning of the game. The goal of course for your farming process so stunted that it becomes ineffective in the late game phase. Then there will be a time you meet a super aggressive enemy on the lane so it is difficult for you farming. If you meet this situation, do not shut up! You can try farming in a jungle or have a swap-lane with a teammate. But make sure the new farming place is safer if you decide to swap-lane.
Do not Go Into The Fight!
Hero carry has a characteristic not effective in the fight if you do not have an item. So try to focus on farming alone, until your core-item so. If you want to take part in the fight in the early game phase, make sure you can kill hero or just join the fight only if it happens on your lane alone.
Take the Hero Skill Wisely
For farming as a carry, do not hesitate to use hero-skill skills. But make sure you use it wisely. For example, if you have an area skill like Slark's Dark Pact, you can use it to quickly clean up creep-wave. The faster you clean the creep-wave the more efficient farming and you are also safer from the target of the ganker. Make sure the hero skill can kill all creeps without missing any one, also do not forget to save some where to escape or preparation of the fight.
Do not Keep Farming!
The heart of Dota 2's game is to destroy your ancient enemy's buildings. So even though as a carry you have a farming job, do not let you just farming until the game ends. Immediately defeat the enemy if your item is over. Do not let your farming preoccupation to the point of being lost in the late-game phase by the enemy carry.
